A fascinating insight into the world of African football through the eyes of Iffy Onuora, who spent almost a year in charge of the Ethiopian national team.

The book charts Iffy Onuora's remarkable journey across Africa and highlights his experience of the passion and problems in a nation only recently admitted back into the football fold, but yearning for success on the football field.

Onuora, who was born in Scotland to Nigerian parents, was a relatively late starter in the game, making his debut at 21 for Huddersfield Town, having studied Economics at Bradford University after leaving school.

He went on to play over 450 football league games for Huddersfield, Swindon and Gillingham before hanging up his playing boots in 2004.

Thereafter, Onuora became a UEFA qualified coach and gained his Pro Licence in 2006. He spent time in charge of Swindon Town and Lincoln City before being approached and subsequently appointed as national team coach for Ethiopia.
