About the Author

Mike Prosser, plumber, heating engineer, author and football statistician from Essex has followed Burnley Football Club since the commencement of the Championship season of 1959/1960.

Looking to write a book on Burnley, and do something no one else had attempted before, he decided three years before this publication to write the complete history of the clubs goalkeeping personnel.

Throughout the research some very interesting statistics have been thrown up that he did not know existed, and the book contains not only these, but details of their careers and involvements.
