This work includes over a thousand nuggets of Burnley FC trivia that is sure to entertain every fan! Their history sparkles with international players, 'football firsts' and record breaking achievements. This book is one which is mainly 'off the record'.

Burnley Football Club comes from the smallest town ever to win the League Division One, and the F.A. Cup. Some big city clubs at present in the Premier League have won neither!

Among their players have been a Footballer of the Year, one who played for Great Britain, several who played in World Cups, and at least one who captained his country.

Here you can read some of the queer, quaint and quirky things that have been part of the past 125 years in Clarets history. Eg Who scored three goals for England and was never picked again? When did ten Blackburn Rovers players walk off the pitch?

When did Burnley play ten Scots in the first team, making the only Englishman feel 'lonely'? And what has golf in a hotel bedroom got to do with anything? It is all in the Burnley FC Miscellany.
