About the Author

Jim Jeffrey edited the the Hibernian programme from 1998 to 2004. He also wrote the Motherwell match programme for 10 years, the Greenock Morton programme for six seasons and was a regular contributor to the magazines of St. Mirren and Falkirk.

The author of a number of football books, he was a regular contributor to the Scottish Football League Review and has a passion for Scottish football books. Married with two children, his hobbies are hill walking, cycling, reading books and writing.
